About Young Judaea

History and Purpose

For over 40 years, the JCC of Puerto Rico has partnered with Young Judaea, Camp Judaea, and Camp Tel Yehuda to provide our youth with unique opportunities for Jewish and Zionist education. Through monthly activities, children connect with Israel and Jewish values through experiential non-formal education, while teens begin their journey into the exciting world of Jewish leadership.

Our Connections

• Camp Judaea (Hendersonville, NC): A summer camp with a rich educational tradition.

• Camp Tel Yehuda (Barryville, NY): An immersive experience focused on Jewish life and leadership.

• Machon and Year Course in Israel: Programs that allow teens to live and learn in Israel.
